Frequently Asked Questions about Invisalign

What are Invisalign clear aligners made of?

Invisalign clear aligners are made of flexible thermoplastic, exclusively created for Invisalign treatment. The plastic is FDA-approved and contain no BPA, BPS, latex, or gluten.

What are the benefits of Invisalign treatment?

With Invisalign, others may not even realize you’re wearing them. You can remove them to eat and drink, to brush and floss, or even for special occasions. There aren't any metal brackets or wires like conventional braces that could irritate your mouth or even break.

What is the treatment process?

After a thorough consultation and evaluation with our doctor, your customized digital treatment plan will be mapped out which shows how your smile will be transformed. Your unique aligners will be created, and you will wear each set of aligners for 20 to 22 hours a day, changing to a new set of aligners every 1 to 2 weeks, as directed. Each set of aligners will gently and gradually shift your teeth into place until you reach your beautiful new smile.

How long will treatment take?

Treatment time varies from patient to patient, dependent on multiple factors, for example, how complex your case is and how often you wear your aligners. Your doctor will determine exactly how long your treatment will take based on your specific needs. On average, Invisalign treatment time is on average between 12 to 18 months, though you can start seeing results in a matter of weeks.
